Fabienne ADAL attended the School of Fine Arts in Caen. She has dedicated herself entirely to oil painting, which she practices on different supports
(wood, canvas, canvas board, canvas paper, kraft paper).
After a period when she favoured abstraction and colour, Fabienne ADAL decided to return to figuration and to "paint landscapes with height and perspective", and in order
to better render the effects of fog, she uses bird feathers as brushes.
With a gesture always aiming at harmony, the artist deploys her vehement touch in a very restricted but vibrant palette, playing essentially on the non-colour
to better bring out the shadows and the lights.
